Professor Justus Ortega will talk about the development and implementation of two integrated service learning programs in the department of Kinesiology & Recreation Administration. Over the past 12 years, Ortega and his team of staff and students have provided Fall Prevention and concussion testing for the North coast community; serving over 5000 community members. Ortega will talk about how these programs were developed in a way that integrates graduate and undergraduate research and hands-on learning into the services they provide to the community.
