Sue Grigsby Scholarship

Sue Grigsby of Lake Stevens, Washington graduated from Humboldt in 1979 with a Recreation Administration degree; she was also an outstanding track athlete. Sue was inducted into the HSU Athletics Hall of Fame in 1987 and was named an HSU Distinguished Alumnus in 2010 .

Today Sue is Department Chair of Physical Education, Health, and Wellness at Everett Community College in Washington. The Sue Grigsby Scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in the Kinesiology. A student interested in applying for the scholarship should do the following:

• Students can also go to the Financial Aid Office with any questions they have.

Sue Grigsby Scholarship Criteria:

1. Kinesiology major.
2. Undergraduate student who has completed at least 30 semester units and no more than 95 semester units at Humboldt State University.
3. Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA.
4. Demonstrated academic promise, good citizenship, and ethics as determined by the scholarship committee.
5. Award is non-renewable.

Scholarship Amount: $750.00
